Private Parties
Is there a fee to reserve a private party?
Yes, we require a $50 non-refundable room rental fee to reserve your private party date.
This covers travel time and holds your spot on our calendar.
Do you have a guest minimum for private parties?
Nope! We do not have a guest minimum for private parties. Whether you’re gathering a few close friends or a larger group, we’re happy to host you.
What happens if I need to reschedule my party?
Life happens! If you need to move your party date, please provide at least 2 weeks’ notice. We’re happy to accommodate one date change with that advance notice. Rescheduling within less than 2 weeks may require a new booking fee, depending on availability.
What is your cancellation & refund policy for guest registrations?
Once guests register and select their project, their orders are non-refundable, regardless of whether the party is held as scheduled. This is because we custom cut materials specifically for each order. If a guest is unable to attend, we’ll happily package their project as a Take & Make kit. Their project is theirs—just in a flexible format.
Are there special policies for youth party packages?
Yes! Youth party packages are designed for a 10-guest minimum. If you don’t reach that number, no worries—any extra boards can be packaged as Take & Make kits for later use or gifting.
Why are orders non-refundable once placed?
Because we cut each project to order, these materials are prepared specifically for your event. This ensures we’re ready for you and your guests, but it also means we can’t restock or resell those items easily. To protect our small business, all guest registrations are considered final once confirmed.
Workshops
We understand that life happens and sometimes plans change. While we do our best to accommodate, please note the following policy regarding missed workshops to help keep things fair and manageable for both our guests and our team:
What happens if I miss a workshop I signed up for?
Due to the custom nature of our projects, all workshop registrations are non-refundable. When you sign up, we cut and prepare materials specifically for your order, which means we’ve already invested time and resources into your project.
Can I reschedule or transfer my project?
If you’re unable to attend your scheduled workshop your project will be packaged as a Take & Make kit with all materials and instructions so you can complete it at home.
What if it’s an emergency?
We get it—emergencies happen. If you contact us at least 24 hours in advance, we’ll do our best to work with you on a solution. However, because each project is custom-made, refunds are not available.
Why is this policy in place?
We put a lot of care into preparing for each workshop, and last-minute cancellations or no-shows impact both our small business and other guests. This policy helps us manage materials, staffing, and keep our events running smoothly for everyone.
